| My Fellow Americans: | |||
| In my many discussions with other leaders within the movement, I have often stated my belief that many of the problems associated with modern America are a direct result of the outcome of The War For Southern Independence, more commonly referred to as The American Civil War. The defeat of the Southern armies in the field not only sounded the deathknell of the state sovereignty, but dramatically increased the pace of the transformation from the Old Republic based upon the principles of national self-interest to the American Empire, committed not only to the "Reconstruction" of the South, but of the world as well. | |||
| Although the U.S. Constitution allocated certain restrictive powers to the General Government, it undeniably enthroned the sovereign State as master of the Republic and the legitimate avenue through which the voices of the people would be made manifest. Following the war, the Reconstruction Acts as well as the 13, 14 and 15th Amendments whose passage was made possible via the disenfranchisement of the Southern States and a direct political assault on the office of the President itself the balance of power was deceitfully and illegally shifted to the General Government. | |||
| As a result, the status of the individual States shifted from the status of master to slave, groveling at the foot of Uncle Sam for the scraps from a tax system that enshrines federally- mandated programs, regulations and the ability to indoctrinate the people through a rigidly-controlled educational system. And the most ludicrous part of this whole system is that the money, and thus the power with which the General Government dominates the States, is freely, almost eagerly, donated from the slaves themselves. | |||
| The people of this nation have been led to believe that they live within a free country; but the harsh and obvious truth is that we are deeply immersed in (democratic) socialism, in which what is seen as "good" for the masses outweighs the concerns of the individual (including those little nuisances we know as "rights"). Our Founding Fathers were very clear in explaining their concerns, fears and apprehensions of so-called 'democracies;' for all 'democracies' ultimately fail because by systematically depriving the people of their freedoms, they stifle individual creativity and productivity. A look at the statist history of the Soviet Union may provide a dark and ominous glimpse into the future of America. | |||
| Ah, it is however, a future not yet set in stone. But there is much work to be done and the days grow short. This is why The Confederate Society of America (CSA) and other organizations are gathering the people and the resources necessary to both convert the populace to our Cause while simultaneously engaging the enemies of freedom on all fronts. | |||
| While it is true that CSA is a Southern Nationalist organization, our efforts are not confined to the south of the Mason-Dixon line. We are as committed to the principles, convictions and laws as outlined and enumerated in the original Constitution as any Americans. While others wish to define us a "racist" or "extremist," we are nothing as much as simple folks looking for the freedom to live, raise family and work as we see fit. We believe there is but one God and his residence is not in Washington D.C. | |||
| Further, our commitment to "equality before the law" and to the rights of all is why we eagerly invite any and all people to come and join us. Our Mission Statement and our By-laws are self explanatory and encapsulate who we are. | |||
| And we are proud of who we are. We make NO excuses. In short, we are Confederates in the mold of our ancestors of 1860, holding to those beliefs and common goals that gave our lives meaning and direction before it was taken by force of arms in the Second American Revolution (also known as the American Civil War). No matter how loud our enemies blather, we are too proud to wear hoods, we do not burn crosses, we do not lynch blacks, and we do not seek to reinstitute slavery! What we do wish "is to be left alone." It is our belief that within our enemies lies the true danger to American freedom. | |||
| We are NOT rebels! We are Patriots! We will NOT be intimidated and we will NOT go away. Y'all have eyes to see that something is not right; ears with which to hear the cries of the innocent; and noses which tell you that something stinks in this land and that 'everything' is NOT right! When God is cast out, the very purpose of our being and as a people and as a country is gone. We must as a people, bow down, ask forgiveness and restore the biblical God to his rightful place in America and in our hearts. | |||
| I ask all that believe as we do to come, join the CSA and let the Yankees quiver once more before the cacophonous "Rebel Yell" as the legions of Dixie arise to reclaim their homes, their nations and their God. | |||
